53 goals in 93 games
Qualifying star: The goals have dried up of late, but even with 10, Ronaldo was south America's top scorer in qualification. Against Argentina in 2004 he looked like a player from another planet when he won and scored three penalties.
How many goals did owen & rooney get in qualifying???

I was listening to the commentary team but they dont influence me. Im not doubting he was one of the best players in the world but now i dont think he is anywhere near.
Owen and Rooney arent up for debate but to be honest I think Owen's having one too. Crouch cant be past it cus he's not at it.
For me Bent and Defoe should be in the squad but from what we've got it should be Rooney and Crouch, drop Owen, bring Walcott on late.
Lampard was England's top scorer in qulaifying with 5, Owen with 4. Ronaldo scored 10 but Brazil had 18 qualifying games compared to England's 10.

Not sure...
Was surprised to be honest that they play 18, I think the top 4 qualify. Others being Equador and Paraguay.
I know Ronaldo's lej really, he's just having one. Same with Owen, they'll both come good again.

yeah he's still got it and probably always will because he's a world class player. Just not like he used to be.
He used to be as ridiculous as Ronaldinho.

Apparently he has had a rough time from the Real fans and his 2nd divorce...Despite how much he gets paid he still is human and we all get pressure in some degree. Im liking the look of Robinho but he doesn't score as many as he should do.
